Service Providers to Cloverland
Several groups and individuals provide services to the Town of Cloverland. These service providers are either other governmental units responsible for emergency situations and burning regulations, or businesses that are contracted to provide a specific service to the Town.
Animal Control Officer
The Town of Cloverland has contracted with Bob Lass to serve the Town as its animal control officer. Report all incidents with domestic animals to Mr. Lass who is charged with humane treatment of the animals. Any wildlife complaints or problems should be directed to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources who offer guidance and remedies for unruly wildlife.
The Town of Cloverland Fire Warden who can grant and approve short term burning permits is George Zimma. All other permits should be obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The Ambulance service to the Town of Cloverland is provided by Eagle River Memorial Hospital who operates a 24 hour paramedic service.
The Eagle River Fire and St. Germain Fire Departments provide fire services to the Town of Cloverland. These departments are volunteer and have several area individuals who are trained to fight a wide variety of fires. The Eagle River Fire Department is governed by the Fire Commission which is made up of representatives from the city of Eagle River and the towns of Cloverland, Lincoln, and Washington.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department patrols and handles all potential criminal complaints in the Town of Cloverland. This service is provided 24 hours per day for each day of the year.
